Radeon R5 235 Game Requirement Analysis

Overview
Radeon R5 235 is an OEM only, entry-level Graphics Card based on the second revision of the Terascale Architecture.

Architecture
The Second variant of the Terascale 2 Architecture is still manufactured with a 40nm technology and despite allowing more Stream Cores, their design remains more or less the same compared to the first variant.

GPU
It equips a GPU codenamed Caicos XT which has 2 Compute Units activated and thus offers 160 Shader Processing Units, 8 TMUs and 4 ROPs. The Central Unit Operates at 775MHz.

Memory
The GPU accesses a 1GB frame buffer of DDR3, through a 64-bit memory interface. The size of the frame buffer is exaggerated and in no way benefits the GPU. The memory clock operates at 533MHz.

Features
DirectX 11.0 Support (11.0 Hardware Default) and support for HD3D, Eyefinity, App Acceleration, PowerPlay and other technologies.

Cooling Solution
The Cooling Solution consists of a Single-Fan.

Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 35W, it requires at least a 350W PSU and it relies entirely on the PCI Slot for power, meaning no extra connectors are required.

Performance
Radeon R5 235 is essentially a fast Radeon HD 6450 v3.
Gaming benchmarks put its performance around of a GeForce GT 520.

System Suggestions
We recommend a modest processor (Intel Celeron) and 2GB of RAM for a system with Radeon R5 235.
