Radeon R7 250 1GB Game Requirement Analysis
Radeon R7 250 is a Fast-Middle-Class Graphics Card based on the First Revision of the Graphics Core Next (GCN) Architecture.
The GCN 1.1 revision of the Graphics Core Next Architecture adds new important technologies and is largely oriented for energy efficiency. New technologies such as PowerTune and TrueAudio are the biggest additions as well as DirectX 11.2 support.
It equips a GPU Codenamed Oland XT which has 6 Compute Units activated and thus offers 384 Shader Processing Units, 24 TMUs and 8 ROPs. The Central Unit is clocked at 1000MHz and goes up to 1050MHz, in Turbo Mode.
The GPU accesses a 1GB frame buffer of fast GDDR5, through a 128-bit memory interface. The size of the frame buffer is adequate. The Memory Clock Operates at 1150MHz.
With a rated board TDP of 65W, it requires at least a 400W PSU and relies entirely on the PCI Slot for power, meaning no extra connectors are required.
Radeon R7 250 Competes with GeForce GTX 750 but the latter is much faster and slightly more efficient.
It proves to be as fast as Radeon HD 7750.
