Radeon HD 6670 v2 Game Requirement Analysis
Radeon HD 6670 v2 is a fast-middle-class Graphics Card based on the second revision of the Terascale Architecture.
The Second variant of the Terascale 2 Architecture is still manufactured with a 40nm technology and despite allowing more Stream Cores, their design remains more or less the same compared to the first variant.
It equips a GPU codenamed Turks XT which has 8 Compute Units activated and thus offers 480 Shader Processing Units, 24 TMUs and 8 ROPs.
The GPU accesses a 1GB frame buffer of DDR3, through a 128-bit memory interface. The memory clock operates at 800MHz. The size of the frame buffer is exaggerated and in no way benefits the GPU.
DirectX 11.0 Support (11.0 Hardware Default) and support for Crossfire, HD3D, Eyefinity, App Acceleration, PowerPlay and other technologies.
The Cooling Solution consists of a Single-Fan.
With a rated board TDP of 66W, it requires at least a 400W PSU and it relies entirely on the PCI Slot for power, meaning no extra connectors are required.
Gaming benchmarks put its performance somewhat above GeForce GT 440, meaning GeForce GTS 450 is still much faster.
We recommend a modest processor (Intel Core i3/AMD Phenom) and 4GB of RAM for a system with Radeon HD 6670 v2.
