GeForce GTX 970 Galax OC 4GB Edition Game Requirement Analysis
Overview
GeForce GTX 970 Galax OC 4GB Edition is a special edition of NVIDIA's high-end GeForce GTX 970 4GB created by Galax.
Overclock Out of The Box
The Central Unit now runs at 1126MHz, instead of 1051MHz. Boost Clock is now of 1266MHz, instead of 1178MHz. Memory Clock was left untouched. This means the Card performs better when compared to the reference NVIDIA Graphics Card but should also consume slightly more power.
Cooling Solution
The reference NVIDIA Single-Fan Cooling System has been replaced by Galax's Double Fan Cooling Solution. This means the card runs cooler under load.
Performance
Benchmarks indicate a 5% performance over the reference GeForce GTX 970 4GB.
