Radeon HD 4890 Sapphire Vapor-X OC 2GB Edition Game Requirement Analysis
Overview
Radeon HD 4890 Sapphire Vapor-X OC 2GB Edition is a special edition of AMD's High-End Radeon HD 4890, created by Sapphire.
Overclock: Central Unit
The Central Unit now runs at 870MHz, instead of 850MHz.
Overclock: Memory Clock
The Operating Memory Clock now runs at 1050MHz while the Frame Buffer was doubled to 2GB: this is a gimmick and in no way benefits the GPU.
Cooling Solution
The Cooling System has been replaced by Sapphire's Vapor-X Cooling Solution, which has cooling module on the GPU together with a heatsink and profiled fan venting heat out of the case.
Performance
Benchmarks indicate a 3% performance over the reference Radeon HD 4890.
