All games with system requirements of DirectX 12 or lower are met by this card.

Lets look at the GeForce GTX 970 MSI Gaming 100 ME 4GB Edition game performance guide for some of the biggest games played in 2021. In particular we will see how well this graphics card runs on Ultra settings on 1080p resolution as well as 1440p and 4K. In comparison to the game recommended requirements of the 1000 most demanding games played today this PC hardware can run 443.

First we looked at 1080p resolution for the GeForce GTX 970 MSI Gaming 100 ME 4GB Edition performance to explore what sort of benchmarks it would achieve on the popular title FIFA 22 and saw it deliver strong frames per second across the following graphics settings - Low: 214 FPS, Medium: 168 FPS, High: 113 FPS and Ultra: 81 FPS. We proceeded to look at Forza Horizon 5 to see how that compared and predict that it will return a playable 30 FPS at Ultra 1080p.

Increasing resolution to 1440p is something a number of PC gamers are doing today. We tested the GeForce GTX 970 MSI Gaming 100 ME 4GB Edition at 1440p with FIFA 22, which got a good set of FPS results. These were, Low: 163 FPS, Medium: 129 FPS, High: 86 FPS and Ultra: 62 FPS. We then checked out Forza Horizon 5 which we predict would have a set of graphics results as followed, L: 60FPS, M: 48FPS, H: 32FPS, U: 23FPS. And another popular game was Back 4 Blood that returned L: 106FPS, M: 83FPS, H: 56FPS, U: 40FPS at 1440p. Getting popular modern games to run at 1440p on the GeForce GTX 970 MSI Gaming 100 ME 4GB Edition is a reliable performer at this larger resolution for modern games. The graphics card will be good to run 1440p on Ultra or High settings.
