Radeon R5 330 (OEM) Game Requirement Analysis
Overview
Radeon R5 330 (OEM) is an OEM only, Middle-Class Graphics Card based on the second revision of the Graphics Core Next Architecture.
Architecture
The GCN 1.1 revision of the Graphics Core Next Architecture adds new important technologies and is largely oriented for energy efficiency. New technologies such as PowerTune and TrueAudio are the biggest additions as well as DirectX 11.2 support.
GPU
It equips a GPU codenamed Oland PRO previously used on Radeon R5 240. It offers 320 Shader Processing Units, 20 TMUs and 8 ROPs. The central unit runs at 830MHz and goes up to 855MHz, in Turbo Mode.
Memory
The GPU accesses a 2GB frame buffer of fast DDR3, through a 128-bit memory interface. The size of the frame buffer is exaggerated and in no way benefits the GPU. The Memory Clock Operates at 900MHz.
Features
DirectX 12.0 Support (11.0 Hardware Default) and support for Crossfire, Mantle, PowerTune, Eyefinity, ZeroCore, HD3D, App Acceleration and other technologies.
Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 50W, it requires at least a 450W PSU and relies entirely on the PCI slot for power.
Performance
Radeon R5 340 (OEM) is essentially a fast Radeon R7 240. Therefore, its performance stands somewhere between Radeon R7 240 and the faster Radeon R7 240 V2.
System Suggestions
We recommend a Modest Dual Core Processor (Intel Core i3 Quad Core/AMD FX Quad Core) and 4GB of RAM for a system with Radeon R5 330 (OEM).
