While some games have more powerful requirements than this GPU, the GeForce GTX 980 Ti Zotac ArcticStorm 6GB Edition is only really challenged by the most demanding games released today, but normally it is more than capable of running games with a stable frame rate at 1080p.

Capable of running games with up to a DirectX 12 requirement.

This PC hardware performance game review for the GeForce GTX 980 Ti Zotac ArcticStorm 6GB Edition graphics card, when running 2023 more popular games, lets us see what type of FPS this card gets when playing at 1080p, 1440p and 4K screen resolutions and ultra settings. The GeForce GTX 980 Ti Zotac ArcticStorm 6GB Edition graphics card is returning a reasonable performance on Resident Evil 8 at 1080p of 47 frames per second at Ultra graphics settings. Another popular title that is good to benchmark graphics cards against is Far Cry 6 which we saw got playable frame rates of 41 FPS. A third game we can look at on Ultra at 1080p is the popular Forza Horizon 5, which was getting 47 FPS under tests.

Moving screen sizes up to 1440p we ran Resident Evil 8 on the GeForce GTX 980 Ti Zotac ArcticStorm 6GB Edition to see that it got a playable set of frame rates. Here are the low to ultra results at 1440p - L: 94FPS, M: 74FPS, H: 50FPS, U: 35FPS. Another popular game to test at 1440p with this card was Far Cry 6 which seemed playable in performance netting an Ultra FPS of 31 FPS.
