Radeon R7 360 Game Requirement Analysis
Overview
Radeon R7 360 is a Fast-Middle-Class Graphics Card based on the Second Revision of the Graphics Core Next (GCN) Architecture.
Architecture
Radeon R7 360 Equips a GPU Codenamed Tobago PRO which is a Second Gen GCN GPU and can be considered a rename of the Bonaire PRO previously used on Radeon R7 260.
Tobago PRO has 12 Compute Units activated and thus offers 768 Shader Processing Units, 48 TMUs and 16 ROPs.
GPU
The Central Unit is clocked at 1050MHz.
Memory: Speed
The GPU is equipped with fast GDDR5 and Accesses the Frame Buffer through a 128-bit Memory Interface. The Memory Clock Operates at 1500Hz.
Memory: Frame Buffer
The GPU can fill up a Memory Pool of up to 2GB. This would be useful were the Graphics Card suited for 1080p Gaming, which is not the case.
Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 75W, it requires at least a 500W PSU with one available 6-pin connector.
Performance
Radeon R7 360 2GB is essentially a faster Radeon R7 260 2GB.
Its release Price of $109 is what makes it a very competitive Graphics Card because its performance is only slightly better than GeForce GTX 750 and the GPU is not 1080p gaming capable, considering today's gaming market.
System Suggestions
Radeon R7 360 2GB is best suited for resolutions up to and including 1600x900. We recommend a Decent Processor and 8GB of RAM for Optimal Performance.
