GeForce GTS 250 v2 is a Fast-Middle-Class Graphics Card based on the first revision of the Tesla Architecture.


Architecture
Tesla was NVIDIA's First Unified Shader Architecture.


GPU
It equips a GPU Codenamed G92-420-A2 which has 8 Stream Multiprocessors activated and thus offers 128 Shader Processing Units, 64 TMUs and 16 ROPs. The Central Unit is clocked at 675MHz.


Memory
The GPU accesses a 512MB frame buffer of GDDR3, through a 256-bit memory interface. The size of the frame buffer is adequate. The Memory Clock Operates at 1100MHz.


Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 140W, it requires at least a 450W PSU and it requires at least two 6-pin available connectors.


Performance
GeForce GTS 250 v2 is a Direct Rebrand of GeForce 9800 GTX and performs exactly like it.
