GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Game Requirement Analysis

Overview
GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is the top 1000 Series graphics card and considered an Enthusiast graphics card based on the Pascal architecture.

Architecture
The Pascal architecture aims for twice as much Performance as the Maxwell Architecture and introduces support for second gen HBM.

GPU
It equips a GPU Codenamed P102-300-A1 which has 3584 Shader Processing Units, 224 TMUs and 88 ROPs. The central unit runs at 1480MHz and goes up to 1584MHz, in Boost mode.

Memory
The GPU accesses a 11.2GB frame buffer of second gen GDDR5X memory, through a 352-bit memory interface, while the Memory clock operates at 1376MHz.

Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 220W, it requires at least a 600W PSU with 2 power connectors, a 6-pin and an 8-pin connector.

System Suggestions
GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is best suited for resolutions up to and including 3840x2160. We recommend a High-End Processor and 16GB of RAM for optimal performance.

Would this be bottlenecked by my cpu? Should I just go with a 1080 instead or wait for the 2070? Any feedback is appreciated!

I know that my OC CPU can still handle a 2070 so guessing since u have extra cores, a 1080 ti won't give u any visible bottlenecks.
As for wondering if u ever changed your mind to get a 1080 or a 2070

I'd say unless you care about the RTX scene and dlss, stick with the 1080 or even a 1070 ti since the performance is similar for a much cheaper price out of the two.

If you game at 60 fps / 60hz most likely no, but at 120+ expect cpu bottlenecks especially on a 1080p 144hz monitor.

It is a known fact that all quad-core CPUs struggle in BF1.

Even at 1440P with my 1080Ti my 7700K (At 5 ghz) bottlenecked it..
