The Radeon RX 480 HIS IceQ X² Roaring OC GB is a high performing piece of gaming hardware, still confidently featuring in PC gamer computers. DirectX 12 gaming system requirements will be met by this gpu.

What FPS performance can the Radeon RX 480 HIS IceQ X² Roaring OC GB get on latest AAA 2020 games? In particular our game review looks at the FPS achieved running on Ultra graphics settings on the 1080p screen resolution as well as 1440p and 4K. Of the 1000 most demanding recommended specs found in game requirements today, this gpu is more powerful than the graphics requirement of 696 games in todays list.

Looking at some of the modern popular games people are playing today the Radeon RX 480 HIS IceQ X² Roaring OC GB is running Halo: Reach and delivering strong performances on 1080p Ultra, getting 163 frames per second. Comparing this to Microsoft Flight Simulator which is predicted to get playable results, where it averages 32 FPS. Another popular game we looked at is Star Wars: Jedi - Fallen Order, which is running at 32 frames per second.

Moving screen sizes up to 1440p we ran Halo: Reach on the Radeon RX 480 HIS IceQ X² Roaring OC GB to see that it got a strong set of frame rates. Here are the low to ultra results at 1440p - L: 327FPS, M: 258FPS, H: 174FPS, U: 124FPS. Another popular game to investigate at 1440p with this card was Microsoft Flight Simulator which we predicted will be weak in performance netting an Ultra FPS of 24 FPS. Finally we then took a look at Star Wars: Jedi - Fallen Order where its Ultra 1440p Frame rates were weak at 24 FPS. In summary we feel the Radeon RX 480 HIS IceQ X² Roaring OC GB running at 1440p is a very good hardware option at these screen sizes. Ultra is easily achieved across almost all games at 1440p and we would suggest an increase of screen size up to 4K for this graphics card.
