GeForce GT 340 is a middle-class GFX based on the 2009, 40nm, second-generation unified architecture.
It's based on the GT215 Core and offers 96 Shader Processing Units, 32 TMUs and 8 ROPs, on a 128-bit memory interface of fast GDDR5. The central unit runs at 550MHz and the memory clock operates at up to 850MHz.
The number of Shaders cannot be compared to GeForce GT 320 due to being based on a different architecture. It's therefore a renamed GeForce GT 240 GDDR5 (OEM).
Today's modern demanding games will have to be played at medium settings to achieve fluent frame rates. DirectX 11 games aren't supported.
