How well can the GeForce GTS 150M run games
13 Dec 2019 - Graphics card reviewed

Based on current gaming requirements the GeForce GTS 150M is considered one of the weakest cards and wont meet modern AAA game specs. All games with system requirements of DirectX 10 or lower are met by this card.

How many years will the GeForce GTS 150M graphics card play newly released games and how long until you should consider upgrading the GeForce GTS 150M in your PC? You should definitely consider replacing this GeForce GTS 150M graphics card, if it is still in your gaming PC.

Whats a good PC graphics upgrade for the GeForce GTS 150M? A good choice when looking to upgrade the GeForce GTS 150M would be the 20 Series GeForce RTX 2070 Mobile which meets 982 of the 1000 top game’s recommended system requirements and has 2269% better performance. Alternatively we would suggest getting a RX 5000 Series Radeon RX 5500M 8GB, as it can run 577 of the top 1000 demanding game requirements today with 1375% increased graphics performance.

GeForce GTS 150M Game Requirement Analysis

GeForce GTS 150M is (or should have been) the most powerful GPU of the 100M Series released by NVIDIA in 2009.
The biggest hindrance it has is the fact that it only supports DirectX up to 10 so DirectX 11 games aren't supported.
We do not know if this GPU ever reached any laptop since it doesn't even have a page at NVIDIA's website.
It's based on the 'G94b' architecture (same as GTS 160M) but features extremely lower clock frequencies so it can be addressed as a 'Very Slow' GTS 160M.
