How well can the Radeon RX 560X 4GB Mobile run games
26 Jan 2020 - Graphics card reviewed

One of the more powerful mid range graphics cards, the Radeon RX 560X 4GB Mobile might struggle sometimes with the more system demanding game requirements. Capable of running games with up to a DirectX 12 requirement.

What FPS performance can the Radeon RX 560X 4GB Mobile get on latest AAA 2020 games? In particular our game review looks at the FPS achieved running on Ultra graphics settings on the 1080p screen resolution as well as 1440p and 4K. When considering how well this graphics card can run the 1000 most demanding games available today it can best 256 of the games’ recommended graphics requirements.

Running at 1080p this card is predicted to get a weak frame rate from Cyberpunk 2077 with 1 FPS on Ultra. Then we take a look at Halo: Reach which returns a strong 114 FPS. Another title that we looked at is the popular Grand Theft Auto VI which we predict will get a weak 0 FPS.

As the PC gaming masses explore larger screen resolutions we decided to run some game checks at 1440p across a few popular games. We predict the Radeon RX 560X 4GB Mobile will run the upcoming game Cyberpunk 2077 to a weak performance level. Predictions across the graphics settings looked like this, Low: 1 FPS, Medium: 1 FPS, High: 1 FPS and Ultra: 0 FPS. Another game tested was Halo: Reach, L: 230FPS, M: 181FPS, H: 122FPS, U: 87FPS. And then we researched potential graphics card performance on Grand Theft Auto VI, wih estimates revealing L: 0FPS, M: 0FPS, H: 0FPS, U: 0FPS at 1440p. In summary we feel the Radeon RX 560X 4GB Mobile running at 1440p is a perfectly suitable selection of hardware for theis larger screen size. If a game at 1440p struggles a bit or experiences a frame drop then you can tweak settings in game to help get it stable. This might mean lowering it to medium or low in some specific options.
