A true powerhouse, the Titan RTX will run even the most demanding game system requirements released today. Capable of running games with up to a DirectX 12 requirement.

Here is a quick game performance synopsis for the AAA games played in 2021. In particular we focus on how well the Titan RTX runs at Ultra graphics settings and what frames per second it is getting at 1080p, 1440p and 4K monitor resolutions. When considering how well this graphics card can run the 1000 most demanding games available today it can best 999 of the games’ recommended graphics requirements.

Running at 1080p this card is predicted to get a strong frame rate from Resident Evil 8 with 84 FPS on Ultra. Then we take a look at Far Cry 6 which is predicted to return a good 69 FPS. Another title that we looked at is the popular Battlefield 6 which we predict will get a strong 100 FPS.

The Nvidia Titan RTX is the top RTX 20 Series graphics card and considered an Enthusiast graphics card based on the Turing architecture.


Architecture
The Turing architecture represents a process shrink down to 12nm compared to 14nm Pascal. The Turing architecture provides the world's first consumer support for real-time ray-tracing technology, or RTX.


GPU
It equips a GPU Codenamed Turing TU102-400A-A1 which has 4608 Shader Processing Units, 288 TMUs, and 96 ROPs. The central unit runs at 1350MHz and goes up to 1750MHz in Boost mode. It also has 576 Tensor Cores for AI purposes and 72 RT Cores for real-time ray-tracing.


Memory
The GPU accesses a 24GB frame buffer of first-gen GDDR6 memory through a 384-bit memory interface, while the Memory clock operates at 1750MHz, or 14GHz effective.


Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 280W, it requires at least a 650W PSU with two 8-pin power connectors.
