This is a strong benchmarker on modern games and can often return excellent frame rates at high and ultra 1080p. But the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Gainward Phoenix 11GB can also run 1440p pc system requirements.

Capable of running games with up to a DirectX 12 requirement.

Here is a quick game performance synopsis for the AAA games played in 2022. In particular we focus on how well the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Gainward Phoenix 11GB runs at Ultra graphics settings and what frames per second it is getting at 1080p, 1440p and 4K monitor resolutions. When considering how well this graphics card can run the 1000 most demanding games available today it can best 999 of the games’ recommended graphics requirements.

Looking at some of the modern popular games people are playing today the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Gainward Phoenix 11GB is predicted to run Star Citizen with strong performances on 1080p Ultra, getting 106 frames per second. Comparing this to Days Gone which is getting strong results, where it averages 99 FPS. Another popular game we looked at is Far Cry 6, which is running at 69 frames per second.

Moving screen sizes up to 1440p we researched Star Citizen on the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Gainward Phoenix 11GB and predict it will get a strong set of frame rates. Here are the low to ultra predictions at 1440p - L: 212FPS, M: 167FPS, H: 113FPS, U: 80FPS. Another popular game to test at 1440p with this card was Days Gone which seemed good in performance netting an Ultra FPS of 76 FPS. Finally we then took a look at Far Cry 6 where its Ultra 1440p Frame rates were reasonable at 53 FPS. Looking at a few of these 1440p results for the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Gainward Phoenix 11GB we get the impression that it is a very good hardware option at these screen sizes. Ultra is easily achieved across almost all games at 1440p and we would suggest an increase of screen size up to 4K for this graphics card.

GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Gainward Phoenix 11GB Game Requirement Analysis

Overview GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Gainward Phoenix 11GB is a dual-slot RTX 20 Series graphics card and considered an Enthusiast graphics card based on the Turing architecture. This graphics card uses a fairly basic triple-fan design that doesn't make it ideal for overclocking. Architecture The Turing architecture represents a process shrink down to 12nm compared to 14nm Pascal. The Turing architecture provides the world's first consumer support for real-time ray-tracing (RTX) technology. GPU It equips a GPU Codenamed TU102 which has 4352 Shader Processing Units, 272 TMUs, and 88 ROPs. The central unit runs at 1350MHz and goes up to 1575MHz in Boost mode, offering a small 2% boost over the reference model. It also has 544 Tensor Cores for AI purposes. Memory The GPU accesses an 11GB frame buffer of first-gen GDDR6 memory through a 352-bit memory interface, while the Memory clock operates at 1750MHz, or 14GHz effective. Power Consumption With a rated board TDP of 250W, it requires at least a 650W PSU with two 8-pin power connectors. GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Gainward Phoenix 11GB is best suited for resolutions up to and including 3840x2160. We recommend a top-End Processor and at least 16GB of RAM for optimal performance.
