GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Gainward Ghost 6GB Game Requirement Analysis

Overview GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Gainward Ghost 6GB is a mid-range GeForce 16 Series graphics card and considered a great price to performance 1080p graphics card based on the Turing architecture. This is a dual-slot graphics card with a dual-fan cooling solution, certified VR-ready, and supports Gainward's Expertool II. This video card has below average overclocking potential. Architecture The Turing architecture represents a process shrink down to 12nm compared to 14nm Pascal. Unlike the RTX series, the GTX series does not support real-time ray-tracing. However, a lower quality version of DXR ray-tracing will be enabled in a future software update. GPU It equips a Turing GPU codenamed TU116, more specifically TU116-400-A1, which has 1536 Shader Processing Units, 96 TMUs, 48 ROPs, and 24 SMs. The central unit runs at 1500 MHz and goes up to 1770 MHz in Boost mode, the same as the reference model. Memory The GPU accesses a 6GB frame buffer of first-gen GDDR6 memory through a 192-bit memory interface, while the Memory clock operates at 1500MHz, or 12GHz effective. Power Consumption With a rated board TDP of 120W, it requires at least a 450W PSU with an 8-pin power connector. System Suggestions GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Gainward Ghost 6GB is best suited for resolutions up to and including 2560x1440, but is ideally suited for 1080p gaming. We recommend a mid-range Processor and at least 16GB of RAM for optimal performance.
