Gamers upgrading will be considering the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Zotac Gaming 6GB graphics card as a serious price to performance entry point. This card will meet and play most demanding AAA games and do so with good graphics setting as standard, and confidently pushing past the recommended game system requirements needed to run today’s games.

This card meets game requirements up to DirectX 12.

We take a look at game performance achieved on this graphics card when running 2023 popular games. This short GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Zotac Gaming 6GB game hardware review looks at the graphics card frame rate performance on Ultra graphics settings at 1080p, 1440p and 4K screen resolutions. We look at 1000 of the most demanding games available today and this GPU is better than the recommended graphics requirement of more than 800 games in the list.

The 1080p FPS on Ultra for the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Zotac Gaming 6GB shows us that Far Cry 6 is getting a playable result of 44 FPS, and then we are seeing Dying Light 2 returning a reasonable 45 FPS while another game on our list is the Back 4 Blood which is getting 72 frames per second at Ultra 1080p.

We move on to 1440p, and tested Dying Light 2 which delivered playable FPS results. Here are the graphic presets - Low: 90 FPS, Medium: 71 FPS, High: 48 FPS and Ultra: 34 FPS. Next we have Back 4 Blood running on GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Zotac Gaming 6GB which gets L: 145FPS, M: 114FPS, H: 77FPS, U: 55FPS. And for performance contrast the popular Far Cry 6 gets L: 88FPS, M: 69FPS, H: 46FPS, U: 33FPS at 1440p. GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Zotac Gaming 6GB Game Requirement Analysis

Overview GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Zotac Gaming 6GB is a mid-range GeForce 16 Series graphics card and considered a great price to performance 1080p graphics card based on the Turing architecture. This is a dual-slot shortened design graphics card with a dual-fan cooling solution, curved fan blades, aluminium heatsink, and triple copper heat pipes. Its small size makes this GPU a good choice for a small form factor (SFF) PC build. This video card has below average overclocking potential. Architecture The Turing architecture represents a process shrink down to 12nm compared to 14nm Pascal. Unlike the RTX series, the GTX series does not support real-time ray-tracing. However, a lower quality version of DXR ray-tracing will be enabled in a future software update. GPU It equips a Turing GPU codenamed TU116, more specifically the TU116-400-A1 variant, which has 1536 Shader Processing Units, 96 TMUs, 48 ROPs, and 24 SMs. The central unit runs at 1500 MHz and goes up to 1770 MHz in Boost mode, the same speed as the reference model. Memory The GPU accesses a 6GB frame buffer of first-gen GDDR6 memory through a 192-bit memory interface, while the Memory clock operates at 1500MHz, or 12GHz effective. Power Consumption With a rated board TDP of 120W, it requires at least a 450W PSU with an 8-pin power connector. System Suggestions GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Zotac Gaming 6GB is best suited for resolutions up to and including 2560x1440 but is ideally suited for 1080p gaming. We recommend a mid-range Processor and at least 16GB of RAM for optimal performance.
