this Gpu be bottlenecked by my CPU?
A bit, your CPU can handle slightly higher GPUs but you won't really go wrong.
thank you
Is it compatible with my pc?!
yes you can run it on your pc without any problem
Is it compatible with my motherboard
yes with no problem friend
May I know if this card is better partner to my cpu? newbie here XD
Yes, this card is better suited than your current one towards you CPU.
Would I bottle-neck this card?
nope not at all , i would prefer the 7870 or gtx 660 thats the maximum you can get out of the cpu
deffinitly no card for me but what would be the best graphics card for my processor price doesnt matter
why not upgrade both?
Slap 2 of these in Xfire and it will run anything any time.
how hard would my cpu or a phenom II 945 bottleneck this?
The bottleneck would be the same as my CPU. It isn't that big but the performance difference between a Phenom II 945 and a Core i7 is quite big :) Thumbs up if I helped you ;)
so what now? Theres no way im getting Intel stuff ( i have nothing against intel and am well aware of its superiority) but like, should i get the phenom or would it not make a difference? Fast answer would be appreciated, im buying new hardware tomorrow.
The Phenom would be your best choice if you are not willing to go back to Intel but the AMD FX CPU'S are also a good choice.
I know that! My dream would be an FX 6300 and an HD 7870 XT, but my motherboard has pcie 1.1 and a max TDP of 95 watts ( FX are also not supported at all ). thanks for your help!
No prob man ;) And btw. it doesn't matter what pcie version you have, any GPU will work. I used my Radeon HD 5770 on a pcie 1.1 before getting my new rig.
i know itll work regardless of the pcie version, but using a pcie 3.0 graphics card on a 1.1 board-> less performance than possible no? also my hd 6850 is pcie 2.0 and works no problem ;)
yeah There is a minor performance decrease but its not that big deal. Good luck with buying the parts ;)
Will this Gpu be bottlenecked by my CPU?
your CPU will bottleneck this GPU
Why do you think so?
simply, on this page it says that it's best match is an i7-930 which is powerful than yours
Its only a 49% difference so I don't think the bottleneck can be big
yes it isn't
Does anyone know if the 1GB sapphire will be alright or bottleneck for my current cpu. I posted in sapphire variant section but i don't think my question will be answered. I need to decide before i consider buying one from someone.
Surely, this will be bottlenecked by a Dual Core :/ Still, it's a huge upgrade, and the performance difference will be more than noticeable
