How well can the Radeon RX 5700 XT VisionTek 8GB run games
AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT VisionTek 8GB
10 Aug 2021 - Graphics card reviewed

This computer hardware provides top end graphics. The Radeon RX 5700 XT VisionTek 8GB will easily meet recommended system requirements of games released today. This is a strong benchmarker on modern games and can often return excellent frame rates at high and ultra 1080p. But the Radeon RX 5700 XT VisionTek 8GB can also run 1440p pc system requirements.

All games with system requirements of DirectX 12 or lower are met by this card.

Lets look at the Radeon RX 5700 XT VisionTek 8GB game performance guide for some of the biggest games played in 2023. In particular we will see how well this graphics card runs on Ultra settings on 1080p resolution as well as 1440p and 4K. This card runs recommended graphics requirements of 984 games from the top 1000 most demanding games being played today.

Running at 1080p this card gets a good frame rate from Back 4 Blood with 75 FPS on Ultra. Then we take a look at FIFA 22 which returns a strong 161 FPS. Another title that we looked at is the popular Battlefield 2042 which we saw getting a reasonable 49 FPS.

We move on to 1440p, and tested Back 4 Blood which delivered reasonable FPS results. Here are the graphic presets - Low: 151 FPS, Medium: 119 FPS, High: 80 FPS and Ultra: 57 FPS. Next we have FIFA 22 running on Radeon RX 5700 XT VisionTek 8GB which gets L: 324FPS, M: 255FPS, H: 172FPS, U: 123FPS. And for performance contrast the popular Battlefield 2042 gets L: 99FPS, M: 78FPS, H: 52FPS, U: 37FPS at 1440p. Getting popular modern games to run at 1440p on the Radeon RX 5700 XT VisionTek 8GB is more than capable at running this screen resolution. 1440p Ultra across almost all modern games is going to be fairly standard with this GPU. We would consider moving this hardware up to 4K screen resolutions for PC gaming today.

How many years will the Radeon RX 5700 XT VisionTek 8GB graphics card play newly released games and how long until you should consider upgrading the Radeon RX 5700 XT VisionTek 8GB in your PC? 2-3 years of top end gaming before an upgrade

Whats a good PC graphics upgrade for the Radeon RX 5700 XT VisionTek 8GB? There are no graphics cards on the current market that would provide a big enough increase in performance to warrant upgrading the Radeon RX 5700 XT VisionTek 8GB.

Radeon RX 5700 XT VisionTek 8GB Game Requirement Analysis

Overview
The Radeon RX 5700 XT VisionTek 8GB is an Enthusiast gaming Graphics Card based on the first (1.0) Revision of the RDNA Architecture.

Architecture
The Navi 10 XL GPU offers support for GDDR6 Memory, DirectX 12.0, Vulkan 1.0, and OpenGL 4.5. This variant of the Navi 10 XL GPU features 40 Compute Units activated, offering 2560 Shader Processing Units, 160 TMUs and 64 ROPs. The GPU features a 1605 MHz base clock speed and up to 1905 MHz with boost clock, making it an estimated 15% faster than a Radeon RX Vega 64. This puts its predicted performance roughly in line with the GeForce RTX 2080.

GPU
The Central Unit is clocked at 1605 MHz, rising to 1905 MHz with boost clock enabled.

Memory: Speed
The GPU is equipped with high-speed GDDR6 and accesses the Frame Buffer through a 256-bit memory interface, providing total memory bandwidth of 448 GB/s.

Memory: Frame Buffer
The GPU can fill up a Memory Pool of up to 8GB. Under most circumstances, this only proves useful in certain 3D Games whose Settings Require Large Amounts of Memory.
However, the GPU itself is aimed for 4K Gaming, In some limited scenarios, 8GB might be a bottleneck and Performance could be better were the Frame Buffer larger, however this would only be an issue in the most demanding games.

Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 225W, it requires at least a 600W PSU with one available 8+6-pin connector.

Performance
The AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT VisionTek 8GB competes with GeForce RTX 2070 8GB, which is available for $599.
Specs currently available suggest the AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT ASRock 8GB performance should be in the same region as the GeForce RTX 2070.
System Suggestions
The AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT VisionTek 8GB is best suited for resolutions up to and including 3840 x2160 (4K). For the most demanding AAA games it should be ideally suited to 4K. We recommend a Very Strong Processor and at least 16GB of RAM for Optimal Performance.
