Mobility Radeon HD 550v Game Requirement Analysis
Mobility Radeon HD 550v is a middle-class GPU based on the 55nm, Terascale 1 architecture and therefore not related to other Mobility HD 5000 Series GPUs.
It's based on the M96 Core and offers 320 Shader Processing Units, 32 TMUs and 8 ROPs, on 128-bit memory interface of standard GDDR3. The central unit runs at 450MHz and the memory clock operates at up to 600MHz. It consumes no more than 20 Watt.
Benchmarks indicate modern demanding games of 2007-2010, such as Crysis, BF2 and Metro 2033 were only playable at low settings smoothly, using a 1024x768 resolution. Therefore, today's modern demanding games should be playable on the low preset, using a 1024x768 resolution and extremely demanding modern games such as Crysis 3 might be unplayable.
However, as based on the Terascale 1 architecture, DirectX 11 games aren't supported.
