How well can the GeForce 410M run games
22 May 2020 - Graphics card reviewed

Based on current gaming requirements the GeForce 410M is considered one of the weakest cards and wont meet modern AAA game specs. GeForce 410M is capable of DirectX 11 gaming requirements.

How many years will the GeForce 410M graphics card play newly released games and how long until you should consider upgrading the GeForce 410M in your PC? You should definitely consider replacing this GeForce 410M graphics card, if it is still in your gaming PC.

Whats a good PC graphics upgrade for the GeForce 410M? If you want an upgrade suggestion for the GeForce 410M then a good choice would be 20 Series GeForce RTX 2060 Mobile as this is better than 841 of the top 1000 most demanding game requirements with 2811% better performance as well. Alternatively if you are thinking of upgrading this graphics card then we would currently suggest the RX 5000 Series Radeon RX 5500M 8GB. This PC hardware upgrade performs 2194% better and can run 445 of today’s 1000 most demanding PC games.

GeForce 410M Game Requirement Analysis

Overview
GeForce 410M is a entry-level Mobile Graphics Card based on the first revision of the Fermi Architecture.

Architecture
The Fermi Architecture is manufactured with a 40nm technology and uses a technique known as Hot Clocking: The Shaders are clocked twice as fast as the Central Unit. While this leads to a reasonable performance boost, it causes enormous amounts of energy dissipation, leading, ultimately, to a significantly higher operating temperature.
Fermi is also the first GPU architecture with fully cached memory access which increases memory performance.

GPU
It equips a GPU Codenamed GF119-N12M-GS which has 1 Stream Multiprocessors activated and thus offers 48 Shader Processing Units, 8 TMUs and 4 ROPs. The Central Unit is clocked at 575MHz.

Memory
The GPU accesses a 512MB frame buffer of DDR3, through a 64-bit memory interface. The size of the frame buffer is adequate. The Memory Clock Operates at 800MHz.

Features
DirectX 11.0 Support (11.0 Hardware Default) and support for Optimus, 3D Vision Surround, PhysX, Realtime Raytracing and other technologies

Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 12W, it is suited for very small laptops.

Performance
Gaming benchmarks indicate its performance is actually above the higher positioned GeForce GT 415M in about 10%.

System Suggestions
We recommend a modest processor (Intel Core i3 Mobile) and 4GB of RAM for a system with GeForce 410M.
