Overview
Radeon HD 7670 is a fast-middle-class Graphics Card based on the second revision of the Terascale Architecture.
Architecture
The Second variant of the Terascale 2 Architecture is still manufactured with a 40nm technology and despite allowing more Stream Cores, their design remains more or less the same compared to the first variant.
GPU
It equips a GPU codenamed Turks XT which has 8 Compute Units activated and thus offers 480 Shader Processing Units, 24 TMUs and 8 ROPs.
Memory
The GPU accesses a 1GB frame buffer of fast GDDR5, through a 128-bit memory interface. The memory clock operates at 1000MHz. The size of the frame buffer is adequate.
Features
DirectX 11.0 Support (11.0 Hardware Default) and support for Crossfire, HD3D, Eyefinity, App Acceleration, PowerPlay and other technologies.
Cooling Solution
The Cooling Solution consists of a Single-Fan.
Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 66W, it requires at least a 400W PSU and it relies entirely on the PCI Slot for power, meaning no extra connectors are required.
Performance
Radeon HD 7670 is a direct re-brand of Radeon HD 6670.
Gaming benchmarks put its performance somewhere between GeForce GT 440 and GeForce GTS 450.
System Suggestions
We recommend a modest processor (Intel Core i3/AMD Phenom) and 8GB of RAM for a system with Radeon HD 7670.

hi guys im just curious what would happen if for e.x i will have 70-80W free for this card only, but my psu has 19-18-17 or a little less amps than it's requierd (there is 20)mine has 17, is it dangerous to use it?? bcouse i calculated my psu and my cpu uses up to 70 W motherboard 50W and i have more than 100 W free but i am worried about amps :P
It will destroy you whole PC
on laptop it says GPU Radeon HD 7670M 1gb but when i type dxdiag in run the name of GPU is AMD Radeon HD 6520G WHAT THE ???
try running a heavy game like BF3, and if it can only run on low its the 6520g. if it will run on MED+ so its the 7670
maybe its only showing your integrated gpu.like when i checked it was showing intel 4000 instead of 7670m.
Try GPU-Z
Looks like the PS4 console will have this GPU inside… Looking good for the PC market, as most of our GPUs are already better.
did you read it somewhere or just guessing ?
Read it on the official page.
Thanks for the info :)

All weaker than my laptop.
I think your confusing this with the 7870, I read that that's the one that the PS4's GPU will be based on, anyway, PC all the way
Everything seems the same as hd6670 I wonder what makes this card perform better? I also never seen this card in my country.
I have this card, its really great it can run crysis 2 maxed with no AA smoothly. its a good card
You're serious? I have doubts about that, namely that the 7670 isn't a very strong card, even a 550 Ti, which is better than this card, can't run Crysis 2 at 1280x1024 at maximum settings, it averages under 40 FPS on a mix of extreme and very high settings.
i ran crysis 2 at maxed with 1280x1024 resoltuion with smooth fps :D
Well i think it runs great with this card, it may not be the best but i say its a really good mid ranged card. Also my card has 2.1 GB of vram so that might make a difference
Still I wonder how come exactly same specs and architecture can be %24 better :)
This isn't the same architecture though. And it isn't effectively 24% better, at least I don't believe. What you're seeing is the strange stratification that we sometimes get with rankings, as to me your 6670 is only 5% worse.
Actually percentage numbers not important for me personally to compare GPu's but I really could not find the difference of these cards, and they have both Turks XT architecture, so you mean under the same architecture name they have differences?
Ah, I didn't look closely at the information above. They're basically the same, but this is probably clocked higher by default. I'm not sure of the specific differences, but there has to be something to warrant the difference.
I agree but still could not figure it out myself :) I do not want to believe they just put the same specs under different names and cheat people :) I will try to find some benchmark results.
Have you ever seen the HD 5770 and HD 6770. Same thing, except the 6770 supports some extra codecs which no one really uses. So yes, it does happen :D
Omg :D its just terrible marketing for us users then :) thats why I never buy a tech device without I get enough info about it :)
hd 7750 or gtx 550 ti
amd hd 7750 and amd procesoor are the best realy buy 7550 :)
I have it on my laptop ( with intel hd 3000 - switchable)
it says not notebook GPU ???????????????
It says not notebook gpu because this is PC version. The laptop version is 7670M
yeah the notebook version is 7670m and remember to change your rig.
lol Awesome Card
what?
