GD Rating

3

How well can the Radeon HD 7770 1GB GDDR5 run games
This Radeon HD 7770 1GB GDDR5 graphics card is considered budget with poor modern game performance when playing anything more demanding than indie game requirements.

All games with system requirements of DirectX 11 or lower are met by this card.

This low performing GPU is unable to play any of the most demanding games available today.

How many years will the Radeon HD 7770 1GB GDDR5 graphics card play newly released games and how long until you should consider upgrading the Radeon HD 7770 1GB GDDR5 in your PC? You should definitely consider replacing this Radeon HD 7770 1GB GDDR5 graphics card, if it is still in your gaming PC.

Radeon HD 7770 1GB GDDR5 Game Requirement Analysis

Overview
Radeon HD 7770 is a Fast-Middle-Class Graphics Card based on the First Revision of the Graphics Core Next (GCN) Architecture.

Architecture
The GCN Architecture succeeds the 40nm Terascale Architecture. In addition to being produced with a 28nm Technology, the GCN Architecture adds other Technologies that allow for energy efficiency. For example, ZeroCore Power, a long idle power saving technology, allows the Graphics Cards to shut down by itself when the Monitor is turned off.
GCN also adds Improved Anisotropic Filtering, DirectX 11 Tessellation and the Partially Resident Textures (PRT) Technology, which enables future games to utilize ultra-high resolution textures with the same performance as today's small and often repetitive textures.

GPU
It equips a GPU Codenamed Cape Verde XT which has 10 Compute Units activated and thus offers 640 Shader Processing Units, 40 TMUs and 16 ROPs. The Central Unit is clocked at 1000MHz.

Memory
The GPU accesses a 1GB frame buffer of fast GDDR5, through a 256-bit memory interface. The size of the frame buffer is adequate. The Memory Clock Operates at 1125MHz.

Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 80W, it requires at least a 450W PSU with one available 6-pin connectors.

Performance
Radeon HD 7770 competes with GeForce GTX 650 Ti but its performance was slightly behind it.

System Suggestions
Radeon HD 7770 is best suited for resolutions up to and including 1600x900. We recommend a Decent Processor (Intel Core i3 Quad Core/AMD FX Quad Core) and 8GB of RAM for Optimal Performance.

Yeah I could go with R7 260X but as I don't pay it with cash I did not get 10% off so with my rig it went over budget, so I get the 7770 which will run all games very well and later I can throw almost any strong gpu on my FX6300.

But it has TrueAudio, but that feature I don't really need atm and for up to 5fps difference and costing $50 more it's indeed not worth. :D

No, it's perfectly fine.
My advice: opt for another cpu. Either get an Intel pentium G or save a bit more for an i5.
An i3 is not worth twice the money over a Pentium G since you'll get similar performance in-game. i3 has hyperthreading whilst pentium doesn't.
An i5 would last a few more years and give a big boost but would be -50$ more expensive. Check out the i5-3350P.
Tell me what you think.

I got stable 60 fps when playing low requirements and ancient games, but why ?
60 fps is smooth enough but I thought I could get more like 100+ but it couldn't … not even more than 60, the hell … 60 is already a limit :(
Anyway I'm satisfied with this since it can handle almost all latest game and the price is acceptable

If there is an option in your game to turn of Vsync, turn it off. Vsync caps your framerate to 60 FPS. But if you have a 60 Hz monitor, I recommend you leave it on, as there wouldn't be much difference if you go over 60 FPS and it can eliminate screen tearing. But if you have, say, a 120 Hz monitor, it would be ok to turn it off. :)
