Radeon HD 7730M Game Requirement Analysis
Radeon HD 7750M is a Fast-Middle-Class Mobile Graphics Card based on the First revision of the GCN Architecture.
The GCN Architecture succeeds the 40nm Terascale Architecture. In addition to being produced with a 28nm Technology, the GCN Architecture adds other Technologies that allow for energy efficiency. For example, ZeroCore Power, a long idle power saving technology, allows the Graphics Cards to shut down by itself when the Monitor is turned off.
GCN also adds Improved Anisotropic Filtering, DirectX 11 Tessellation and the Partially Resident Textures (PRT) Technology, which enables future games to utilize ultra-high resolution textures with the same performance as today's small and often repetitive textures.
It equips a GPU codenamed Chelsea LE which has 8 Compute Units activated and thus offers 512 Shader Processing Units, 32 TMUs and 16 ROPs. The Central Unit Initially Operates at 575MHz and goes up to 675MHz, in Turbo Mode.
The GPU accesses a 1GB frame buffer of fast DDR3, through a 128-bit memory interface. The size of the frame buffer is adequate. The memory clock operates at 900MHz.
DirectX 11.0 Support (11.0 Hardware Default) and support for Crossfire, PowerTune Technology, Eyefinity, App Acceleration, HD3D, ZeroCore Power and other technologies.
With a rated board TDP of 32W, it is suited for 15" or larger laptops.
Gaming benchmarks put its on average with NVIDIA's GeForce GT 640M.
