APU A10-6700 Quad-Core is a performance CPU based on the 32nm, Piledriver architecture.


It offers 4 Physical Cores (4 Logical), initially clocked at 3.7GHz, which may go up to 4.1GHz and 4MB of L2 Cache.
Among its many features, Turbo Core and Virtualization are activated.


The processor integrates powerful Graphics called Radeon HD 8670D, with 384 Shader Processing Units, clocked at 844MHz, which share the L2 Cache and system RAM with the processor.
Both the processor and integrated graphics have a rated board TDP of 65W.


It is a powerful Quad Core whose performance is good. It's thus capable of running most applications smoothly without any problem.

If you plan on using the integrated graphics then the APU is the way to go, but if you plan on adding a discrete GPU then FX series would be better.

a athlon x4 730 handles the gtx 970 really well. And the x4 730 is based on the same architecture as the a10 6700, but it's clocked almost 1Ghz lower, and it still handles the gtx 970!!! Thus this a10 6700 cpu is 30% better than it and the gtx 670 is quite weaker than the gtx 970, so you will be fine! :)
