This CPU plus a zotac gtx 1050ti 4gb and 8gb RAM. Can it play 2016-2018 games at good quality/resolution and no/not much bottlenecking? Thanks

Its a perfect match - you will be able to play everything at a decent framerate (and "tweaked" graphical settings) @ 1080p for sure. The only downside is, that if you are buying the GPU right now, you will get screwed over xD no other alternative

I am thinking of upgrading my AMD FX-6300 processor and I am hesitating between buying the FX-8370 or I5 4460 + motherboard. My budget is only 200€

it's a relatively old cpu - I would suggest to wait out a little longer, until you have enough for a normal/ cheap mobo + 16 gb RAM and the cheapest Ryzen R5 you can find (currently, the R5-1400 is at around -150 Eu)

I have a plan buy this CPU. Enough for "1080p stable gaming"?

P.S. I do not plan to go on new socket. Thanks! :)

Simply to put in words: yes, it's enough for 1080p -60fps, especially good match for your GPU; In future, when your GPU is not enough, you can upgrade the whole system, no need for further upgrades on this rig

Depends on what monitor you are gonna use:
1080p 60 hz no issues (though no point in getting a VEGA for that)
1440p 60 hz no issues
4k 60 fps - I would imagine a noticeable bottleneck
For any 120 HZ and above monitor, you will have issues

You can sure gtx 1060 or rx 480/580 would be highest gpu along with this cpu without significant bottleneck

Alright thanks mate. One more question, what do you think could be better in performance? Fx 8350 or this cpu?

i5-4460 is a better choice for gaming and daily use, i5-4570 in your test profile is even better although not much different between those two i5s. See this video for fx 8350 vs i5-4460 comparison

Well, for example, the first quad i5-750 was a relevant CPU, up until 2015, trading blows with the FX6300 / i3 3xxx/4xxx and Athlon 860k - it wasn't perfect, but enough for 1080p gaming (if paired with a good GPU) - so, my guess would be at leas up until start of 2019 would be enough

as long as you have your gtx 780 the i5 4460 is perfect for it and with these specs you will last until the new hardware comes out in 2018, but just make sure to get 8GB more RAM.

Do not upgrade your CPU there's no need. You don't really need 16gb ram either but I suppose it's nice to have. There will be no bottlenecking and your PSU more than is sufficient. Take it from a 1060+4460 owner.

Cool, this answers to many of questions I had about my similar config. I have the R7 370 MSI 4Go, and think about taking the GTX 1060 Asus OC 3Go. Is it enough to play AAA Games at High 60fps 1920x1080 ? Or do I need 6Go VRAM ?
