The Core i7-7700 4-Core 3.6GHz is a very high-end CPU based on Intel's 14nm, Kaby Lake microarchitecture. It offers 4 physical cores (8 logical), initially clocked at 3.6GHz, which may go up to 4.2GHz using Turbo Boost.


It doesn't feature an unlocked multiplier therefore it can't be overclocked using traditional methods.


It has 8MB of L3 Cache. Level 3 cache is a static memory bank of a processor and it is used to feed it instructions. This processor also supports DDR4 based RAMs with maximum memory support of 64GB.


It has a maximum Thermal Power Design of 65W. It is a fairly power efficient processor.


Among its many features, HyperThreading, Turbo Boost 2.0 and Virtualization are activated are enabled.


It features Intel HD Graphics 630 integrated GPU with 350MHz base clock and turbo boost frequency of 1.15GHz. Video memory will depend on the amount of RAM paired with CPU but maximum limit is 64GB.
