Good CPU. Upgraded from a 7800X. Had a 5960X back in the day as well. My old 8700K was still better in games. Waiting for my 9900K to arrive. God, I've spent alot of money on PC parts.

Awesome future-proof CPU, destroys Ryzen in gaming but not really a viable gaming upgrade from my 6700k. I can wait ;)

Overkill for gaming - nothing I have played so far even comes close to bothering this CPU. If you don't also use your rig for work/streaming then save your cash and go Ryzen or Coffeelake.
