Is this processor still relevant for 2018+?
I'm looking for used piece and replace my Athlon II X2 250 (motherboard is TA76MG) with this. I will use it as secondary pc, storage medium, and not-so-heavy task like drawing, etc.

I've read some forums and everywhere they say that your mobo really doesn't support this CPU. It looks like it's just bios problem. You can try it, but it doesn't look good. Sorry :-(

Well, in my opinion the Phenoms are still the best from AMD yet, so you can pair practically any GPU with this one. Any for FullHD gaming, not some 980ti in SLI :D And with good cooler it is pretty easy to OC this CPU too :-) You are very lucky to found it, though :D

Yeah, I was considering RX 470 or 480 too… They both look really good! And if the price will be as promised… But I think I will stick with my rig for another two years and buy both CPU and GPU after finishing school. It is hard to study with strong PC :D
