Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX 5950 Performance Review
Booting up DOTA 2 with the 1 year old Radeon RX 5950 looks like it will return a consistently high 200+ frame rate. Those frames are achieved on DOTA 2 when being played at 1920x1080 screen resolution and on High graphics.
With such a strong 1080p performance the Radeon RX 5950 overshadows the DOTA 2 recommended specs. Push things up to Ultra 4K and we still get 200+ frames per sec.
Crank things up is what we say. Ultra 4K is our recommended game settings for DOTA 2, as long as you have 4GB of RAM or more. A good processor component to help with these settings would be the AMD Ryzen 7 2700X.
To summarise, this is an easy one, the Radeon RX 5950 solution can play DOTA 2 at Ultra settings despite the desired screen resolution (up to 4K) you want to play it on. 4K Ultra gets 200+ frame rate, whereby we see 200+ frame rate for the 1440p Ultra and if you wish to look at 1080p gaming then 200+ frames per second is the type of results.
