Radeon RX 470 4GB

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX 470 4GB Performance Review

Booting up Fuel with the 5 year old Radeon RX 470 4GB looks like it will return a consistently high 200+ frame rate. With that performance recorded at 1920x1080 res when running High graphics.

With such a strong 1080p performance the Radeon RX 470 4GB overshadows the Fuel recommended specs. Push things up to Ultra 4K and we still get 199 frames per sec. Using the graphics card release price, this is a $0.90 cost per FPS and a $0.54 per FPS at 1440p Ultra.

Crank things up is what we say. Ultra 4K is our recommended game settings for Fuel, as long as you have 2GB of RAM or more. A good processor component to help with these settings would be the Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz.

To summarise, this is an easy one, the Radeon RX 470 4GB solution can play Fuel at Ultra settings despite the desired screen resolution (up to 4K) you want to play it on. 4K Ultra gets 199 frame rate, whereby we see 200+ frame rate for the 1440p Ultra and if you wish to look at 1080p gaming then 200+ frames per second is the type of results. Using the graphics card launch price we calculate the cost per frame to look like this for the different resolutions - 1080p Ultra costs $0.41, 1440p costs $0.54 and 4K costs $0.90.
