Trapped Dead

Radeon RX 550 2GB

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX 550 2GB Performance Review

Running a Radeon RX 550 2GB to play Trapped Dead shows us that we expect it to return a consistently high 200+ frame rate. Note that those results would be running at High and 1920x1080 screen res.

Following on from those 1920x1080 screen FPS, we know this GPU is of a much higher performance than the recommended system specs. Even 4K Ultra returns 200+ FPS on Trapped Dead. But it’s still worth considering the $0.33 per Ultra 4K FPS you would get compared to the $0.19 at 1440p Ultra.

This is a powerful graphics card for Trapped Dead and we can certainly recommend it to deliver 4K screen res at ultra settings. Get a system with at least 2GB of RAM though. The PC’s processor would also want to be around the AMD Ryzen R3 1200X’s performance to get a smooth experience.

To summarise, this game runs easily using this graphics card at all resolutions. Trapped Dead gets 200+ FPS at 4K Ultra costing $0.33 per frame. But if that doesnt feel right for you then you can drop the graphics setting down to High for 200+ FPS costing $0.23 per frame. Otherwise you can get some great performance by moving down a resolution bracket to 1440p. 200+ FPS in Ultra 1440p costing $0.19 per frame or 1440p High gets 200+ FPS costing $0.14 per frame.
