Shadows Of The Damned packshot image
Shadows of the Damned, officially abbreviated as Damned or DMD, is an upcoming 2011 video game developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and published by Electronic Arts for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 video game consoles. The game follows the story of Garcia Hotspur who goes to hell to battle its evils in order to save his true love. The game is the result of collaboration between Goichi Suda and Shinji Mikami, and will combine the styles of the two designers, namely the "punk rock" edge of the former and the "psychological action thriller" of the latter

Shadows Of The Damned

Radeon RX 570 4GB

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX 570 4GB Performance Review

Getting the Shadows Of The Damned running while using a Radeon RX 570 4GB can see it could return a consistently high 140 frame rate. Note that those results would be running at High and 1920x1080 screen res.

And so following those results you could of course play this at 1080p, but this GPU is somewhat wasted at that resolution. We would suggest running Shadows Of The Damned at 4K Ultra instead, where the Radeon RX 570 4GB would still get 45 FPS at these performance hungry settings and resolution. When considering the GPUs release price, this comes in at $3.76 per Ultra 4K FPS or $2.22 at 1440p Ultra.

In summary, the Radeon RX 570 4GB is clearly an overpowered bit of hardware for Shadows Of The Damned, but it certainly gives you the choice of desired in game visuals. With 1080p Ultra coming in at 100 FPS, then you have 1440p Ultra with 76 frames per second and on up to 4K resolution Ultra will see 45 FPS.
