Area 51 packshot image
An unknown virus has been released inside Area 51, and Team Bravo has been assigned to clean it up. Once inside, the team discovers that the virus turns people into murderous mutants, and anyone killed by a mutant turns into a mutant themselves. As the game progresses, members of Team Bravo (and soldiers Ethan meets) are killed one by one by mutants, until only Ethan Cole, the player character, is left alive. Ethan is later bitten by a mutant, slowly turning him into a mutant.rnrn

Area 51

Radeon RX Vega 8

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX Vega 8 Performance Review

Playing Area 51 on the Radeon RX Vega 8, which is a 3 year old graphics card will likely get a very strong 200+ FPS. Which is at High settings on 1080p performance.

But then the Radeon RX Vega 8 will get a solid big screen performance at 4K, with 200+ frames per second. So we expect you are likely to consider running the game in 4K or 1440p. If you are interested, this is a cost of $0 per FPS, assuming we take it based on the GPU’s launch price.

This graphics card, paired with at least 0.512GB system memory would be perfect to run this game at 4K Ultra.

To summarise, with this graphics card you do not need concern yourself too much regarding Area 51 frame rates. Because Ultra graphics setting can be turned on across all resolutions up to 4K quite comfortably. We are seeing 4K getting 200+ FPS, 1440p will get 200+ frame rate and if you are interested then 1080p gaming can get 200+ FPS. Based around the Radeon RX Vega 8 launch price, we calculate the cost per frame at different resolutions. 1080p Ultra frames will cost $0, 1440p frames cost $0 each and then the 4K costs $0 per frame.
