Fully controllable mech suit, called silverbacks, will be available for use in certain parts of the game, armed with a machine gun and rocket launcher. They have two operating modes, in assault mode it is controlled like a standard character, in stationary mode, they lock into position and deploy their armor, as well as cover for other Gears from their legs.

Gears of War 3

GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR5

Low Vs Ultra GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR5 Performance Review

The experience of playing Gears of War 3 through a GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR5 is going to return a consistently high 140 frame rate. Which is at High settings on 1080p performance.

And so following those results you could of course play this at 1080p, but this GPU is somewhat wasted at that resolution. We would suggest running Gears of War 3 at 4K Ultra instead, where the GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR5 would still get 45 FPS at these performance hungry settings and resolution. When considering the GPUs release price, this comes in at $0 per Ultra 4K FPS or $0 at 1440p Ultra.

In summary, if you are looking to play Gears of War 3 in Ultra then you have come with the right graphics card. The GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR5 can chew through the graphical performance needs of the game with relative ease. 1080p Ultra will return 100 frames, then the larger screen resolution of 1440p can deliver 76 FPS, with the 4K resolution seeing 45 FPS in Ultra as well.
