Playing Northern Shadow on the GeForce GTX 960 Ti 2GB, which is a 6 year old graphics card will likely get a very strong 200+ FPS. And those results are assuming a 1920x1080 screen resolution at High setting level.
When looking at the recommended requirements for Northern Shadow we can see that this GeForce GTX 960 Ti 2GB is far better served running it on Ultra even at 4K, where it would achieve 93FPS. But it could cost around $3.22 per FPS at 4K. Compare this to Ultra 1440p, which is a more reasonable $1.92 per FPS.
The GeForce GTX 960 Ti 2GB along with the right system memory, 4GB, is very capable of getting top FPS results even at 4K Ultra graphics settings. We would recommend 4K as the way to go here. Especially if you have a Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz processor or better.
To summarise, with this graphics card you do not need concern yourself too much regarding Northern Shadow frame rates. Because Ultra graphics setting can be turned on across all resolutions up to 4K quite comfortably. We are seeing 4K getting 93 FPS, 1440p will get 156 frame rate and if you are interested then 1080p gaming can get 200+ FPS. Based around the GeForce GTX 960 Ti 2GB launch price, we calculate the cost per frame at different resolutions. 1080p Ultra frames will cost $1.46, 1440p frames cost $1.92 each and then the 4K costs $3.22 per frame.
