Insomnia packshot image
InSomnia is a Dieselpunk RPG that transports you to a retro-futuristic space station on a 400-year journey in search of a new home. Explore the world as a Noman warrior—or hide in the shadows as an outcast. Perhaps you’ll be a charismatic leader—or maybe you’ll become an apex predator with bloodshot eyes and a thrill for the kill. Either way, you will have to muster the strength to survive in order to find out why mankind has embarked on such a risky journey through uncharted space. InSomnia offers an epic, non-linear storyline with many ‘points of no return’ and deep, immersive gameplay. The fate of the space station’s many inhabitants will depend on your choices.

Insomnia

GeForce GT 940 2GB

Low Vs Ultra GeForce GT 940 2GB Performance Review

The experience of playing Insomnia through a GeForce GT 940 2GB is going to deliver a solid 66 FPS. And those results are assuming a 1920x1080 screen resolution at High setting level.

While you can get a solid 36 FPS at 1440p, you might also consider pushing it up to 4K. Where it would get 30 FPS on High 4K and 44 FPS on Medium.

In summary, 1440p resolution shows itself to be the optimum performance vs visuals for the GeForce GT 940 2GB. While it can certainly get a strong 1080p Ultra of 47 FPS, if you want to move up to 1440p on Insomnia then we can see 1440p Low setting getting 95 FPS or the Medium returning 75 FPS. Change graphics settings up to High for 50 FPS and then Ultra gets 36 FPS.
