Insomnia packshot image
InSomnia is a Dieselpunk RPG that transports you to a retro-futuristic space station on a 400-year journey in search of a new home. Explore the world as a Noman warrior—or hide in the shadows as an outcast. Perhaps you’ll be a charismatic leader—or maybe you’ll become an apex predator with bloodshot eyes and a thrill for the kill. Either way, you will have to muster the strength to survive in order to find out why mankind has embarked on such a risky journey through uncharted space. InSomnia offers an epic, non-linear storyline with many ‘points of no return’ and deep, immersive gameplay. The fate of the space station’s many inhabitants will depend on your choices.

Insomnia

GeForce GTX 960 Ti 4GB

Low Vs Ultra GeForce GTX 960 Ti 4GB Performance Review

After playing Insomnia on a GeForce GTX 960 Ti 4GB it will get a very strong 175 FPS. Which is at High settings on 1080p performance.

When looking at the recommended requirements for Insomnia we can see that this GeForce GTX 960 Ti 4GB is far better served running it on Ultra even at 4K, where it would achieve 57FPS. But it could cost around $5.25 per FPS at 4K. Compare this to Ultra 1440p, which is a more reasonable $3.15 per FPS.

In summary, the performance delivered by this graphics card easily overpowers that needed by Insomnia. We expect to get a very strong frame rate of 125 FPS at 1080p Ultra, but would advise moving up to 1440p Ultra to get 95 frames per second or even 57 FPS at 4K Ultra as the GeForce GTX 960 Ti 4GB can handle this. It just comes down to your preferred resolution then tweak your graphics settings to deliver the desired effects, without a care for performance.
