Frontlines Fuel of War packshot image
Frontlines: Fuel of War is set in a dystopian 2024 in the midst of a global energy crisis.
Frontlines combines cinematic, open world game play, with next generation weaponry and a revolutionary Frontline Combat System to deliver the most intense action to date.
The gameplay focuses on a central mechanic, the frontline. This is designed to keep the action in one place, by focusing objectives closer together on the battlefield. The frontline also has bonuses. By moving it back and forth across the battlefield, the player may gain or lose weapons and equipment. The frontline mechanic is used in all gametypes, which forces players to choose which objectives they will pursue or defend, adding a strategic level to the gameplay.

Frontlines Fuel of War

Radeon RX 480 4GB

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX 480 4GB Performance Review

Playing Frontlines Fuel of War on the Radeon RX 480 4GB, which is a 3 year old graphics card will likely return a consistently high 200+ frame rate. And those results are assuming a 1920x1080 screen resolution at High setting level.

Following on from those 1920x1080 screen FPS, we know this GPU is of a much higher performance than the recommended system specs. Even 4K Ultra returns 200+ FPS on Frontlines Fuel of War. But it’s still worth considering the $0.28 per Ultra 4K FPS you would get compared to the $0.17 at 1440p Ultra.

This is a powerful graphics card for Frontlines Fuel of War and we can certainly recommend it to deliver 4K screen res at ultra settings. Get a system with at least 1GB of RAM though. The PC’s processor would also want to be around the Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz’s performance to get a smooth experience.

To summarise, with this graphics card you do not need concern yourself too much regarding Frontlines Fuel of War frame rates. Because Ultra graphics setting can be turned on across all resolutions up to 4K quite comfortably. We are seeing 4K getting 200+ FPS, 1440p will get 200+ frame rate and if you are interested then 1080p gaming can get 200+ FPS. Based around the Radeon RX 480 4GB launch price, we calculate the cost per frame at different resolutions. 1080p Ultra frames will cost $0.13, 1440p frames cost $0.17 each and then the 4K costs $0.28 per frame.
