Frontlines Fuel of War packshot image
Frontlines: Fuel of War is set in a dystopian 2024 in the midst of a global energy crisis.
Frontlines combines cinematic, open world game play, with next generation weaponry and a revolutionary Frontline Combat System to deliver the most intense action to date.
The gameplay focuses on a central mechanic, the frontline. This is designed to keep the action in one place, by focusing objectives closer together on the battlefield. The frontline also has bonuses. By moving it back and forth across the battlefield, the player may gain or lose weapons and equipment. The frontline mechanic is used in all gametypes, which forces players to choose which objectives they will pursue or defend, adding a strategic level to the gameplay.

Frontlines Fuel of War

Radeon RX 480X 8GB

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX 480X 8GB Performance Review

Booting up Frontlines Fuel of War with the 3 year old Radeon RX 480X 8GB looks like it will get a very strong 200+ FPS. With that performance recorded at 1920x1080 res when running High graphics.

At $0.40 per FPS at 4K, if we assume the GPU’s launch price. This GPU can play Frontlines Fuel of War at a respectable 200+ frame rate on 4K Ultra.

The Radeon RX 480X 8GB along with the right system memory, 1GB, is very capable of getting top FPS results even at 4K Ultra graphics settings. We would recommend 4K as the way to go here.

To summarise, this is an easy one, the Radeon RX 480X 8GB solution can play Frontlines Fuel of War at Ultra settings despite the desired screen resolution (up to 4K) you want to play it on. 4K Ultra gets 200+ frame rate, whereby we see 200+ frame rate for the 1440p Ultra and if you wish to look at 1080p gaming then 200+ frames per second is the type of results. Using the graphics card launch price we calculate the cost per frame to look like this for the different resolutions - 1080p Ultra costs $0.18, 1440p costs $0.24 and 4K costs $0.40.
