Shadowgate

Radeon RX 590 8GB

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX 590 8GB Performance Review

We can see that when playing Shadowgate with a Radeon RX 590 8GB will return a consistently high 140 frame rate. Which is at High settings on 1080p performance.

And so following those results you could of course play this at 1080p, but this GPU is somewhat wasted at that resolution. We would suggest running Shadowgate at 4K Ultra instead, where the Radeon RX 590 8GB would still get 45 FPS at these performance hungry settings and resolution. When considering the GPUs release price, this comes in at $6.20 per Ultra 4K FPS or $3.67 at 1440p Ultra.

In summary, Ultra graphics setting is highly achievable with this Radeon RX 590 8GB card, but what monitor resolution are you looking to play Shadowgate at, because you can get 45 FPS at Ultra 4K. But perhaps you feel better served at 1440p, where you would get 76 frames per second on Ultra 1440p. Lower the resolution further and you get a blistering 100 FPS at 1080p Ultra.
