Dragon Ball Xenoverse packshot image
Battles are set in full 3D destructible environments. Fighters can traverse the levels free-roaming in very large spaces and can be fighting on a platform, go in the air, and fight underwater. They run when on the ground, and swim while underwater. Xenoverse has dialogue while fights go on, and fighters show facial expressions when they strike an opponent or take damage. The players have some freedom to explore the planet Earth as it exists in the Dragon Ball universe along with a handful of other locations, including a mysterious new city which is the point of origin for the game's new character. The games new character is confirmed to be a player created character. Players will now be able to create their own custom characters for the Story Mode in four race types: Saiyan, Earthling, Majin or Namekian. The PS4 and Xbox One versions of Dragon Ball: Xenoverse also include unique gameplay features proper to this generation of consoles.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse

GeForce GTX 1060

Low Vs Ultra GeForce GTX 1060 Performance Review

Viewing the performance found on the 4 year old GeForce GTX 1060 while playing Dragon Ball Xenoverse we quickly see it can get a very strong 200+ FPS. With that performance recorded at 1920x1080 res when running High graphics.

As this is a relatively powerful GPU, especially when comparing it to Dragon Ball Xenoverse rec requirements, it would make more sense if you pushed it up to 1440p or 4K, where even at Ultra 4K graphics settings the GeForce GTX 1060 will still get a solid 113 FPS.

With a system housing a graphics card like the GeForce GTX 1060 and some 4GB RAM, we will see a strong 4K Ultra result in Dragon Ball Xenoverse. Look for a processor like the Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz CPU to go with this setup and Ultra is a sure thing.

To summarise, GeForce GTX 1060 graphics cards can smoothly run this game, but what Dragon Ball Xenoverse screen resolution would you like to run with? While you can get 113 FPS with 4K Ultra you can increase your frame rate to 190 FPS in Ultra 1440p and up to 200+ FPS with 1080p. Pricing this on a frame per frame around the graphics cards original price it will cost $1.00 per 1080p Ultra frame. This increases to $1.31 per frame at 1440p Ultra and even more with 4K Ultra at $2.20 per frame.
