Wasteland

GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q

Low Vs Ultra GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q Performance Review

Booting up Wasteland with the 1 year old GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q looks like it will return a reliable 70 FPS. Which is at High settings on 1080p performance.

With such a great performance found in 1080p we step things up to 1440p. Where we still see a solid 38 frame count in Ultra graphics, even on 1440p resolution. Or it could also get 47 FPS on Medium graphics at 4K resolution, if you wanted higher resolution.

In summary, we feel that the GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q looks and performs great on 1440p resolution. So if you want a 1440p Wasteland experience it will generate 101 FPS on Low 1440p graphics setting, 79 FPS when on Medium 1440p, 53 FPS when played at High settings and down to 38 FPS when turned up to Ultra on 1440p. You might still be looking for 1080p though to get some higher smoother FPS, where you could get 50 FPS at Ultra 1080p resolution. So something to think about.
