Baldurs Gate 3

Radeon Vega Frontier Edition 16GB

Low Vs Ultra Radeon Vega Frontier Edition 16GB Performance Review

Playing Baldurs Gate 3 on the Radeon Vega Frontier Edition 16GB, which is a 3 year old graphics card will likely return a consistently high 189 frame rate. Those frames are achieved on Baldurs Gate 3 when being played at 1920x1080 screen resolution and on High graphics.

Playing Baldurs Gate 3 on Ultra 4k is certainly possible with this graphics card and we expect it will return around 61 frames per second at that top scale resolution.

Finding a PC with this gpu or better would return some strong FPS in Baldurs Gate 3. We would definitely recommend running at 4K screen res and on ultra, before trying any lower screen resolution. You would also need at least 8GB of RAM.

To summarise, with this graphics card you do not need concern yourself too much regarding Baldurs Gate 3 frame rates. Because Ultra graphics setting can be turned on across all resolutions up to 4K quite comfortably. We are seeing 4K getting 61 FPS, 1440p will get 103 frame rate and if you are interested then 1080p gaming can get 135 FPS. Based around the Radeon Vega Frontier Edition 16GB launch price, we calculate the cost per frame at different resolutions. 1080p Ultra frames will cost $7.40, 1440p frames cost $9.70 each and then the 4K costs $16.38 per frame.
