Dust of World: Resistance packshot image
"The times are unstable. The outcome is bleak. It wasn't supposed to go like that. We didn't want this. When I saw on TV that the OSMI acquired the mines I cheered... everyone cheered. People came from all over the galaxy, it was so joyful. New cities emmerged from deserted grounds overnight, new families settled in everyday, Keranain hadn't been that lively for a century. Hell, even when we were the third imperial colony, it wasn't that great. With the brand new satellites and all the technology, we had 16 hours of sunlight a day and amenities we couldn't have dreamt of.
But the greed...drove them mad. The tales started to circulate about the violence and the oppression... noone wanted to believe it. But I saw it. The destruction. The slaughter. The corpses left there, the laser burnt flesh made the air smell of blood and dirt. I can still smell it, and feel the ashes in my eyes. It was revolting. So much death... and their screams of despair, I heard them too.

Dust of World: Resistance

GeForce RTX 2060 4GB GDDR5

Low Vs Ultra GeForce RTX 2060 4GB GDDR5 Performance Review

The experience of playing Dust of World: Resistance through a 2 year old GeForce RTX 2060 4GB GDDR5 is going to return a consistently high 200+ frame rate. Which is at High settings on 1080p performance.

And so following those results you could of course play this at 1080p, but this GPU is somewhat wasted at that resolution. We would suggest running Dust of World: Resistance at 4K Ultra instead, where the GeForce RTX 2060 4GB GDDR5 would still get 200+ FPS at these performance hungry settings and resolution. When considering the GPUs release price, this comes in at $0 per Ultra 4K FPS or $0 at 1440p Ultra.

This is a powerful graphics card for Dust of World: Resistance and we can certainly recommend it to deliver 4K screen res at ultra settings. Get a system with at least 2GB of RAM though. The PC’s processor would also want to be around the Intel Core i5-8500 6-Core 3.0GHz’s performance to get a smooth experience.

To summarise, we are in the realms of who gives a crap, when looking at game hardware demands, because the GeForce RTX 2060 4GB GDDR5 card will play Dust of World: Resistance at Ultra settings almost regardless of the screen resolutions. 4K Ultra will get 200+ frame rate, 1440p can deliver 200+ FPS, and the lower resolution of 1080p comes in at 200+ frames per second. For interest the cost per frame rate would look like this - 1080p Ultra costs $0, 1440p costs $0 and 4K costs $0.
