Radeon RX 460 4GB

Low Vs Ultra Radeon RX 460 4GB Performance Review

Playing Type 3 on the Radeon RX 460 4GB, which is a 4 year old graphics card will likely return a consistently high 200+ frame rate. With that performance recorded at 1920x1080 res when running High graphics.

With such a strong 1080p performance the Radeon RX 460 4GB overshadows the Type 3 recommended specs. Push things up to Ultra 4K and we still get 182 frames per sec. Using the graphics card release price, this is a $0.71 cost per FPS and a $0.43 per FPS at 1440p Ultra.

Crank things up is what we say. Ultra 4K is our recommended game settings for Type 3, as long as you have 2GB of RAM or more. A good processor component to help with these settings would be the AMD FX-6100.

To summarise, with this graphics card you do not need concern yourself too much regarding Type 3 frame rates. Because Ultra graphics setting can be turned on across all resolutions up to 4K quite comfortably. We are seeing 4K getting 182 FPS, 1440p will get 200+ frame rate and if you are interested then 1080p gaming can get 200+ FPS. Based around the Radeon RX 460 4GB launch price, we calculate the cost per frame at different resolutions. 1080p Ultra frames will cost $0.33, 1440p frames cost $0.43 each and then the 4K costs $0.71 per frame.
