Enemy Zero packshot image
In Enemy Zero, gameplay sequences alternate between interactive FMV and real time exploration, both from a first person perspective. The real time component of Enemy Zero is unique. Enemies are invisible, and location is only possible through the use of sound, with notes of different pitch helping the player find the distance and direction of enemies. Additionally, every gun in the game must be charged up immediately before each shot, and charging a shot for too long will cause the charge to dissipate, after which the charging must start over. Since all available guns have very limited range, this makes timing crucial; beginning to charge the gun too late or too soon will allow the enemy to reach Laura, resulting in an immediate game over.

Enemy Zero

GeForce GTX 1060

Low Vs Ultra GeForce GTX 1060 Performance Review

Viewing the performance found on the 4 year old GeForce GTX 1060 while playing Enemy Zero we quickly see it can get a very strong 140 FPS. With that performance recorded at 1920x1080 res when running High graphics.

As this is a relatively powerful GPU, especially when comparing it to Enemy Zero rec requirements, it would make more sense if you pushed it up to 1440p or 4K, where even at Ultra 4K graphics settings the GeForce GTX 1060 will still get a solid 45 FPS.

To summarise, GeForce GTX 1060 graphics cards can smoothly run this game, but what Enemy Zero screen resolution would you like to run with? While you can get 45 FPS with 4K Ultra you can increase your frame rate to 76 FPS in Ultra 1440p and up to 100 FPS with 1080p. Pricing this on a frame per frame around the graphics cards original price it will cost $2.49 per 1080p Ultra frame. This increases to $3.28 per frame at 1440p Ultra and even more with 4K Ultra at $5.53 per frame.
