Fifth Column packshot image
In 1944, the Soviet Union formally concludes a peace treaty with Germany that is strongly in favour of the latter. The German-Soviet borders are shifted to the Urals, and Germany becomes the hegemon of Europe. The United States does not enter the fray and Britain stands alone. Lacking the ability to defeat Germany on the open battlefield, Britain now more than ever relies on the expertise of the SOE, founded in 1940 to fight against Germany from within the very lands it holds

Fifth Column

GeForce RTX 2080

Low Vs Ultra GeForce RTX 2080 Performance Review

Running a GeForce RTX 2080 to play Fifth Column shows us that we expect it to get a very strong 200+ FPS. Which is at High settings on 1080p performance.

At $1.38 per FPS at 4K, if we assume the GPU’s launch price. This GPU can play Fifth Column at a respectable 200+ frame rate on 4K Ultra.

The GeForce RTX 2080 along with the right system memory, 2GB, is very capable of getting top FPS results even at 4K Ultra graphics settings. We would recommend 4K as the way to go here. Especially if you have a Intel Core i7-8700K 6-Core 3.7GHz processor or better.

To summarise, this game runs easily using this graphics card at all resolutions. Fifth Column gets 200+ FPS at 4K Ultra costing $1.38 per frame. But if that doesnt feel right for you then you can drop the graphics setting down to High for 200+ FPS costing $0.99 per frame. Otherwise you can get some great performance by moving down a resolution bracket to 1440p. 200+ FPS in Ultra 1440p costing $0.83 per frame or 1440p High gets 200+ FPS costing $0.59 per frame.
